The Origin Story of James Green
James Green didn’t start his career sitting behind a desk. He started in the field, dragging hoses through snowbanks and navigating hot attics to clean furnaces across Southeast Wisconsin.
After years of working as a Lead Technician and seeing the massive difference that honest, thorough duct cleaning made for families, James took a leap of faith. He purchased Totally Clean from the previous owner with a singular vision: to build a company based on technical excellence and pricing transparency.
Today, Totally Clean is a true Father-Son operation. We aren’t a large, faceless franchise or a marketing company that subcontracts work. When you hire us, you are hiring a local family that knows the trade inside and out.
Fighting the “$99 Special” with Honesty
If you live in Milwaukee, you’ve likely seen the ads for “$99 Whole House Cleaning.” In our industry, this is known as “Bait and Switch”—a tactic used to get a salesperson into your home to upsell you hundreds of dollars in unneeded services.
We founded Totally Clean to be the antidote to that scam.

This means we wear shoe covers, use corner guards to protect your walls, and never leave a mess behind. It also means we don’t cut corners. Whether we are performing a complex Aeroseal Duct Sealing or a routine Dryer Vent Cleaning, we adhere strictly to NADCA Standards to ensure the job is done right the first time.
