Aeroseal Duct Sealing for Milwaukee-Area Homes

Official Aeroseal Dealer

Rooms that never warm up, or bills that keep climbing? Leaky ducts lose heated and cooled air before it reaches you. We use a thorough two-part approach: hand-sealing the joints and gaps we can reach, then Aeroseal to close the leaks hidden inside walls and ceilings.

Is duct sealing right for your home?

  • A bedroom that is always colder in winter or hotter in summer than the rest of the house
  • Heating and cooling bills that keep going up
  • A furnace that seems to run and run
  • Dusty air even after a cleaning, because leaky return ducts pull in dust from basements, attics, and walls

How we seal your ducts

  1. Measure the leaks first. We close off your vents, pressurize the duct system, and measure how much air is leaking out before we start.
  2. Hand-seal what we can reach. On most jobs we start by hand-sealing the accessible joints and bigger gaps with mastic and tape, so the large leaks are closed for good.
  3. Seal from inside the ducts. Aeroseal sends a fine sealant mist through your ductwork. It travels to the leaks and builds up at the edges until they close, including spots behind walls and ceilings that no one can reach by hand.
  4. Measure again and show you. You get a before and after leakage report, so you can see exactly how much leakage we sealed.

Questions about duct sealing

Should I clean my ducts before sealing?

Yes, we recommend it. Cleaning first removes dust and debris so the sealant bonds to clean duct edges. Add air duct cleaning to the same visit.

How will I know it worked?

We measure leakage before and after, and you get a report with both numbers.

Will you need to open my walls?

No. Aeroseal works from inside the duct system, which is how it reaches leaks behind walls and ceilings.
